It is the Season for Giving and the Elko County Library is once again putting up the Sugar Plum Tree. This year, the library is partnering with the Nevada Youth Training Center, Elko County Social Services, the Highland Manor, and Green Acres/Cimarron West. These organizations are providing names of children, elderly, and those with special needs, along with what type of gifts they are wishing for at Christmas, so that community members can provide gifts to those who may otherwise not get one at Christmas.
So please stop by the Elko County Library and take a name from the tree to help the less fortunate within our community.
Starting November 19, 2018, names will be available on the tree. We ask that all presents be wrapped and then delivered, with name-tags, to the Elko County Library no later than December 17, 2018 at 5:00 p.m.
Thank you for helping to make the Christmas Season merry for everyone in Elko County!
The Elko County Library does not qualify any names for the tree.
